A psychologist walked around a room while teaching stress management to an audience. As she raised a glass of water, everyone expected they'd be asked the "half empty or half full" question. Instead, with a smile on her face, she inquired: "How heavy is this glass of water?"

Answers called out ranged from 8 oz. to 20 oz.

She replied, "The absolute weight doesn't matter. It depends on how long I hold it. If I hold it for a minute, it's not a problem. If I hold it for an hour, I'll have an ache in my arm. If I hold it for a day, my arm will feel numb and paralyzed. In each case, the weight of the glass doesn't change, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes."

She continued, "The stresses and worries in life are like that glass of water. Think about them for a while and nothing happens. Think about them a bit longer and they begin to hurt. And if you think about them all day long, you will feel paralyzed – incapable of doing anything." It’s important to let go of your stresses.

Psychologists say that there are only four basic emotions: happy, sad, afraid and angry. According to them we have three negative emotions and only one positive emotion. Spiritual leaders say there are only two emotions: love and fear. Regardless of how many negative emotions there are, they cause stress.

There are many studies that show this on-going cycle of harmful stress is a major cause of disease and dysfunction in our bodies and in our lives. Long-term stress triggers an unnatural prolonged “fight or flight” response in our body. This causes internal resources to be taken away from our internal organs and distributed to our muscles. In a long-term stress situation, our internal systems do not function as they are supposed to. The following table shows some of the effects of stress.

Chronic fatigue Sleep Disorders
Anxiety disorders Heart Disease
Suppressed Immune System Headaches
Strokes Gastrointestinal Disorders
Immune Disorders Diabetes
Eating Problems Susceptibility to Infections
Muscular and Joint Pain Memory and Concentration Issues
Sexual and Reproductive Disorders Skin Disorders
Allergies Unexplained Hair Loss
Cancer Adrenal Fatigue

The energy of unconditional love reverses the effects of stress. There are several scientific studies that support the effectiveness of unconditional love energy. For Example:

The simplest studies I know of used yeast as the test subject. Yeast was used for two reasons. The first is the yeast cells are similar to human cells but grow a lot faster. The second is yeast cells do not have any emotion to interfere with their reaction. The yeast studies showed that yeast cells grew faster than normal when the researcher made positive statements and sent loving thoughts. The yeast cells grew much slower than normal when the researcher made negative comments and sent negative thoughts.

Dr. Masaru Emoto conducted a series of studies using water crystals by freezing the water and examining it under high power microscopes. He found that polluted water crystals formed muddy lumps while clear water formed beautiful snowflake like crystals. He then had people take the polluted water and daily say loving comments to the water. After a short period of time that water started forming beautiful crystals. Next, he took clear water and had people make negative, hateful comments to the water. After a short period of time that water produced crystals similar to the polluted water. Since the human body is about 60% water, think about what this can mean to your health.

The HeartMath institute has done a number of research studies on heart-brain interaction. They have determined the heart and brain maintain a continuous two-way dialogue, but the heart sends far more signals to the brain than the brain sends to the heart. The signals the heart sends to the brain can influence perception, emotional processing and higher cognitive functions.

Recent work in the field of neurocardiology has established that the heart is a sensory organ and an information encoding and processing center. The heart is able to learn, remember, and make functional decisions independent of the cranial brain.

Research has established a strong connection between unconditional love energy and health. The goal of Awakening HeartLight is your long term health. We guide you and help you awaken your inner unconditional love energy for yourself and others then teach you how to maintain it.
